Now he's going out of his way to pander to the RepubliCON "base" at the expense of trying to win independent voters...that doesn't sound like someone who's wanting to shake up the DC establishment...What friggin gives??

  1. Obama voted with Dumbya 80% of the time so what does that make him..

  2. doesn't matter barrack Hussein obama isn't much better is he

  3. First, I just had to say that I was all excited to see you had a SPURS logo only to find that it says SUCKS...LOL   You got me.  Anyway, that isn't the point is it?

OK - The truth of it is that McCain is a smart man and knows that the Bush Administration has been a catastrophe.  He doesn't want to offend his base yet he wants the moderates and independents and even democrats feel that he will be different than Bush.  So, we get the magic word "maverick".  Only Mavericks I know are cowboys in movies and people that work for Marc Cuban. LOL  It is ridiculous for us to believe that he is really going to go against the grain until we actually hear some kind of PLAN from him.  We haven't.  That's why people like me have a hard time with this election.  I think people want to believe in him but just can't find the nudge to get them to vote for him due to fear of "more of the same".  I will be listening tonight to see what he delivers.  If he doesn't, I will not be voting for the Rep. ticket.

  4. Not to worry the American public can't be fooled into voting for McLame!

  5. Even though I hate d**k Morris, he made a good point the other day - most legislation that passes through Congress is voted on unanimously. For example, a bill that congratulates Phelps or provides money for orphans. As a result, most people in Congress, unless they just abstain the majority of the time, probably have voting records that align with Bush 70-90% of the time, including Barack Obama.

Also, the Obama campaign has been saying "90% of the time," now it's 95% of the time?

  6. Because he's not a 'maverick' he's a sidekick.

    Plus dementia is clearly evident.

  7. Because it is pure marketing.  He calls himself a maverick more than anyone else does.  He pretends to sponsor bipartisanship but turns around and toes the GOP line every time.

  8. He's nothing like Maverick. Maverick only crashed ONE aircraft (though it was very sad, what happened to Goose...)

Rusty is right and raises an important point... so I will answer that one too...

It makes him a globalist stooge, just like McCain and Bush. They are ALL partially responsible for the Patriot Act, among other erosions of our Bill of Rights and our core American values. None of them cares about the Constitution, it's all about globalization, baby!
