  1. Not ALL Christians are unreasonable.

  2. he says what he thinks the majority wants 2 hear

  3. Who cares his religious beliefs? It seems to me like he does not have a strong belief when it comes to religions. I myself find it very logical because I think it's ridiculous to believe in a religion %100. I also think it's better to no have strong religious beliefs because it may make people take wrong decisions.

I am myself confused about religious, on my Myspace profile it says "Religion: Christian - other". Same thing writes on Mr Obama's profile.

  4. Infanticide?  Geez.

  5. good question, people say he is probably the most religious president ever... and remember those 1800's times where everyone was christian. Maybe obama was just sleeping when he made that vote?

  6. because he is black & can do no wrong.

  7. What a leap, allowing people their personal medical choice doesn't mean you support abortion, it means that as FREE Americans woman have the right to decide for themselves this very personal choice

He's stated that we should ALL be working to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies, why doesn't that make sense to you

  8. How can Repubs claim to be Christian and support the Death Penalty? And Jesus said "Kill those b******s - it is up to you, not me" And it was good.

  9. I think that they say what people want to hear. They try to appease everyone if he is out there saying I am a Christian! Low heath insurance, better paying jobs And so on.. Then maybe he or McCain will be elected for the good things they keep saying over and over. they only address the controversial topics when asked.

  10. Well, "infantcide," as you put it, is a personal choice. Just because the option is available doesn't mean that you have to take advantage of it.

If you don't believe that abortion is right, then you don't have to get one. Nobody is saying otherwise. You can hold to your set of morals. But some people also believe that abortion is the best decision for a fetus that they lack the ability to care for properly. And they should have that choice.

Plenty of Christians are also pro-choice. Even if they would never get an abortion, they recognize that the option is the best choice for other people.

  11. Yeah?

Well how can McCain claim to be pro-life, yet vote for stem cell research?  Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

How is it that you don't mind his stand, but Obama's is terrible?

And pro choice is not pro-infantcide.

    Nice try, no cigar.

  12. That is not true.

He voted against all of the other c**p bundled with it.

  13. He is a sick, sick man. God help us if he gets elected. The country will turn into an ethical sewer.

  14. what makes me laugh is how some people say, "oh im not pro-abortion, im pro-choice" so what if there was a group advocating the legalization of slavery and said "were not in favor of slavery, we just want the right to choose whether or not to own one" im pretty sure everyone would recognize this group as pro slavery, just as people really are pro-abortion

  15. His allegiance is to Roe vs. Wade, abortion on demand....he has admitted that he is not up to the task of acknowledging when anyone first gets their human rights. I can't understand how he thinks he is worthy of the Presidency?

How can he support abortion if he can't conclusively say that fetuses DON'T get human rights before they leave the womb.

  16. well.. you must understand that pro-choice ties in to women's' right issues.

and i believe pro-lifers need to support more funding to s*x education and contraceptives to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

how come i hear about pharmacists refusing to give customers Plan B because of religion?  why not prevent pregnancies so they don't turn into unwanted babies, then abortions?

oh, and i agree with the hypocrisy with pro-lifers supporting the death penalty, especially with all the flaws in the judicial system

  17. Obama is full of contradictions, when he's not looking at a teleprompter.

Look, stem cell research is not the same as killing a baby BORN ALIVE after a botched late-term abortion.

Check Obama's voting record, in the IL senate and the US senate, before you say a bunch of things that are just stupid and misinformed.

  18. Obama is a radical anti-american muslim. Killing newborn american babies is something that doesn't bother them.

  19. Anti-Choice Activists Toss Charges of “Infanticide”

    The Race:

Barack Obama (D) vs John McCain (R); President of the US

    Discuss and Debunk

    The Smear:

Opponents of abortion are pushing around a YouTube video with outrageous charges of “infanticide.” As is often the case with the abortion debate, the heated rhetoric flows freely, making claims about stances Barack Obama took in the Illinois legislature.

    The Truth:

The YouTube video in question includes a number of virulent opponents of abortion, with much of the testimony coming from a woman who also works to fund efforts in Africa to scare people away from using condoms to stop the spread of AIDS. And this entire attack was pushed by a member of John McCain’s advisory board. Barack Obama is pro-choice. One version of the legislation in question threatened the standing abortion laws in the state, while others were bundled with other provisions that created liability for doctors, designed to intimidate doctors and make it more difficult to perform legal procedures. So Barack Obama opposed it for that reason, not because of any result on babies born alive. The legislation was designed to be a “wedge” legislation that would have no effect on medical procedures, designed just for these sorts of attacks. The Illinois legislature, after Barack Obama left to take his US Senate seat, passed a law that explicitly said it wouldn’t affect existing Illinois law on choice. Barack Obama has said he would’ve supported that law. When a group does this, they put one horrible provision (the “infanticide”) part of the bill and package it with a bunch of other provisions that assault a woman’s right to choose. Then, when someone votes against the bill to protect that right, they say the vote was over the “infanticide.” This attack is nothing more than a political hit job by supporters of John McCain. It’s time we moved past trying to use issues like this to divide us and start figuring out how we can work together to rebuild our politics in this country.

Poor cons lies are all you have.
