FINA rules

"

FINA official swimming rules for Butterfly races state the requirement of both hands simultaneously touching the pad (Source: FINA.org, August 16)"

The alleged photos shown by Phelps fans to support that Phelps won.

Cavic didn't just win one way, he won 2 different ways.

He touched first, and he touched with both hands, whereas Phelps set off the sensor with just one hand.

  1. Admittedly, I'm more pissed over the Nastia Liukin robbery than the Phelps thing.

  2. His right hand touched the wall harder than his left hand. You can drop your shoulder like he did. It doesn't matter as long as you touch with both hands at the same time no matter if it is your finger tip or the palm of your hand. You can clearly see that his left fingertips are on the wall.

  3. whats your deal.  phelps won fair and square. he worked just as hard if not harder to win his medals. you gotta remember he swam 17 races all together in just one week.  and he did touch with both hands.

Get over it. id like to see you swim 17 races in one week winning  and smashing world records on each race... hmmm? yeah

  4. ok, the judges on the olympics don't lie, and know what there doing more than you, so i think they're right! deal with it Cavic fan!

  5. i see two hands touching one more of the hand and the other just the finger tips but they are both touching.  there are officials at every ending lane watching to make sure every thing is legal and the touch pads obviously can't lie so he won fair and square.

  6. i see both hands touching.

its over and done with and michael phelps won fair and square.

  7. Phelps won. You are the only one holding onto this.
