Fascism is an authoritarian (= non-democratic) political ideology that considers individual and other societal interests subordinate to the interests of the state. Fascists

seek to forge a type of national unity, usually based on ethnic, cultural and 'racial' attributes. Various scholars attribute different characteristics to fascism, but the following elements are usually seen as its integral parts: nationalism, statism, militarism, totalitarianism, anti-communism, corporatism, populism, collectivism, and opposition to economic and political liberalism.

In Switzerland we haven't a Fascist movement but a very strong nationalist extreme right-wing party that respects neither the constitution, nor the separation of powers, nor the parliament. It won the October elections (26 % of the seats in the parliament) - will say it's growing and growing ...

  1. We need to continue to remove Republicans via the voting booth. We are so close!

  2. Vote libs out.

  3. Fascists  are every where camouflaged either as republicans or/and moderate right-wing parties members, though moderate right-wing parties systemically repudiate any kind of cooperation with the extreme right; it seems that these extremists are alluring, in this day and age, to vast numbers of misinformed and deluded people in Europe. The appeal is easy to make, they take whatever it’s wrong in a country and say xenophobically:"It's that race's fault!” We have seen these before, and now again in various countries in EU, like in France with Jean-Marie Le Pen and the Sarkozy's DNA immigration bill. If we try to reduce the fascism throughout censorship and similar restrictions we won’t be better than they were when they were in power. The way out might be to remember what our parents and grand parents stood and fought to achieve democracy. I strongly believe the solution is culture and education. I feel that art like music, painting, documentaries, etc.. may lead to a better understanding of another point of view, of learning and respecting the differences. I accept as exact that creation is the quintessence of life; therefore arts are the approach to appreciate a better-quality life, for those that produce it and for those that admire it.

  4. In the United States, I believe that neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are fascists.  But there are extreme elements on each side that act like they are.

I believe in both parties in the United States; anyone who wants the other party to be done any with is a fascist.
