How can Westernization benefit more people in developing countries?

It would seem that those who do not benefit from Westernization would be most opposed to it, and would be most likely to attack Westerners. What can developed "Western" societies do to bring more benefits to more people during the process of (ethnocide?). * See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westernization

  1. to stay out of today's world!

  2. It's a pretty broad subject, but basically globalisation needs to come from below rather than predatory globalisation.  The world is changing - more rapidly so than ever before and to ignore globalisation is to take giant steps backward from either an Eastern or Western point of view

  3. westernisation = consumerism

let's start consuming products from the third world, get rid of agricultural and industry subsidies in our own countries and give them a fair go in world trade.

plus, support worker unions in poor countries so people are paid a decent wage.  that will lessen their comparitive advantage based on exploitation, and give OUR manufacturers a fair go.

re: ethnocide, see huntington vs fukuyama, and examples of hybridisation, les sapeurs being the classic.  there's more to the 'end of history' point of view.

  4. WHAT~?!?~

The western culture is dying fast it consist of selfcenterness and greed this dont work for the western how could this mess possibly work anywhere else its not working where it began.

look at the debt china owns usa now right now! did yall know this huh??

  5. The best thing is to butt out of other peoples business. If other non westernized countries do not want our help, there is nothing we can do, they will only resent what help we do give. Western countries may be more developed economically but that doesn't make us the rulers of the world. Haven't you heard of sovereignty?
