  1. When my son was about 10.  he used to collect cans.  He collected ours, the neighbors, he would pick them up after the Laser show at Stone Mountain.  (that's in Atlanta, folks).  One can isn't worth much but they add up.  Plus consider how you will also cleaning up your environment.

  2. Good for your mom and dad. This is only going to teach you responsibility. Ask them if there are chores you can do around the house for a few extra bucks. Also try this around your neighborhood. Offer to walk/bathe dogs, wash cars, mow lawns, etc. There are ways to make money, you just have to be creative.

  3. Cut grass, rake leaves, help neighbors garden, help people take out trash. If one of your parents works, see if there are small jobs you can do there, like clean desk, stock or something like that.

  4. Oh dang that sucks.  if you try to ask around for odd jobs, you may get a couple bucks for that.  what i did was i talked to my parents and agreed that if i came up with 2/3rds of the money than they would paya the rest.  see if you can do somethin like that.  also, if u have ny younger siblings u could babysitt a little bit.

good luck!! I'm 13 and i have an ipod nano thats like the original one...but that was a bday present. it broke though cuz my friend stepped on it.  so im saving 4 a new one to.

    good luck

  5. Chores, mowing lawns in the neighborhood, etc.

  6. You could always deliver the local newspaper, or cut your neighbours lawn, help with spring cleanup....hope these ideas help.

  7. Good. That way you have to be responsible enough to buy it yourself. At 10 you can't get a job so you can shovel snow, rake leaves, mow lawns, walk dogs, etc.

  8. mow grass

    clean your room

    help with chores

    sell stuff you don't use

  9. go do a paper route, or go mow somebody's lawn, or shovel snow, anything will help if you're very imaginative, talk to your parents first though.

  10. have a yard sale..or a bake sale...or a yard sale wit a bake sale 2 in 1!  =D

  11. Everyone has already said this, but I'll say it again. Ask if there are things you can do around the house for a little extra money, go around to your neighbors and see if any of them are going out of town for a weekend and need someone to feed their cats or walk/feed their dogs, ask them if they have any yard work. Elderly people are always willing to help out a kid as long as the child is willing to put some hard work into it. Ask the older neighbors if you can help them weed their garden for a little cash. Save, save, save. Also, if you want an ipod so bad, get a cheaper one if the money isn't coming in as much as you'd like it.

    Good luck.

  12. Offer to walk your neighbors dogs for a few bucks. Or wash their cars. Or mow their lawns (that should be $15 bucks right there). Rake leaves. Do yard work.

  13. ask at ur local shop to do paper rounds

  14. OMG.....IM 10 TOO THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME I CLEANED THE HOUSE.....AND GOT 150 DOLLARS!

  15. Well if you dont get an allowence then maybe cut lawns, get a paper rout and do other odd jobs. since your only 10 it might take you a while to build up the money.
