I'm 12 and I really want the iPod touch! I want the 16GB one and it's about £270 pounds and I have £100 pounds left from my birthday. So does anyone have any ideas on how to make money? And real ways to make a lot of money, not just a pound here and a pound there. And no shops will let me do a paper round.

  1. I very much doubt that you can.  Twelve is generally considered too young to do any real work, because at that age you could still be rather vulnerable.

  2. RE: Your response to Skater8195.

r****d isn't a nice word - you are just as bad as him (I agree with you though!!)

    £££££££££££££££££££££££!!! lol - 2 points!!!!

  3. ya why do u have those weird "money" signs? and money isnt "pounds" ya know. its just money. but a quick way to make money would probably be to babysit but if u hate that idea then oh well

  4. Get jobs mowing some grass or something I got one by doing this.

  5. I'm pretty sure you're too young to be legally employable, at least not without parental consent. If you live in a less than big urban place, offer to cut lawns and such for neighbours. Maybe you'll only get five quid for one, but that will add up.

If you ARE in an urban area where people live in apartments and all, might be a bit more difficult. Maybe you could babysit or help with chores for your neighbours/etc, much like my suggestion for cutting lawns above.

Also, consider the 8GB if money's really tight. 8GB is a LOT of music. I have one, and the battery will go dead long before I listen to all 8GB of audio.
