How can a 13 year old kid get a acting job?

I know a 13 year old kid that wants an acting job and is really serious about acting. So advice or just a link or anything that can help this kid.

First off, very cool!  Acting is one of my favorite things to do.  Second, i would go to a local place where plays are done.  Ask the manager of that building when plays are gonna be done there, then try and get in contact with the people doing te play.  Good luck.
