How can a 13 year old make lots of money before school starts?

hi,every year my mom takes me back to school shopping in August on no tax weekend.I wanted to help pay for most of the cost.I want to make about $300 before the summer is over!any ideas of what i can do to make that much money?besides yard work and no online money making websites

This is the answer I gave for this question(http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...  I was picked as best answer so someone thought it was helpful.  However I did not edit it to remove yard work type stuff.

It'd be helpful to know your skills if you have any. That's not so unreasonable though. That would be approximately $16 a day. At $6 an hour(minimum wage), it would mean 3 hours of work a day for 20 days.

So to be on the safe side try to make $20 a day for the next 20 days(just in case something doesn't work out one of those days).

A bunch of suggestions: mow some lawns and weed, give your family members hair cuts, try to get paid to clean your kitchen and house(maybe even hold a ard sale and try to get a share of the profits). Also see if any neighbors need help, you could weed yards or clear timber. Ask around your school, often the office can use your help stapling or punching holes in papers, or clean classrooms and bathrooms. If you are persistant you can find those types of jobs and do them. If you have any subjects in school that you excel in you may be able to get parents to pay you to tutor their kids(my brother made $10 an hour this way). You seem to be proficent on the computer, you could try to design websites or put some of those skills to use if you have them. Basically just find things that people need done and ask them to pay you to do it. Just make sure you and the person paying are clear about the money situation ahead of time.

Also parents are usually willing to pay a $10-20 dollar a week allowance which might slightly help if you ask them to.

Depends on the state but probably you are too young to say work at McDonalds for a few hours a day(may be possible though).
