How can a 14 year old boy like me make money?

Question

I want to buy a couple of things like xbox360 and a Sony mylo2 and I earn40$ a week put it will take about 5or6 months to get the money to buy those things is their any jobs so that I could earn more money???

i hate to tell you this, but insurance doesn't cover companies who hire kids under 16. so most companies (starbucks, movie theatres, retail stores) won't touuch them. other companies need you to be at least 18 (drug stores, barns & nobles, borders and other retailers...)

i know, i'm 15 and have been trying to get a job since forever.

try things like house sitting, baby sitting, pet sitting --etc. the jobs, suck, but it'll be hard to get something decent.

baby sit, dog sit, offer to walk dogs, garage sale, mow lawns, sell lemonade, clean houses,clean garages,pull weeds,ebay, a dishwasher at a restaurant(some do hire), paper route,wash inside and clean outside of cars, some fast food places hire, make crafts and sell them house to house.

There are many opportunities, just find something you like to do and go from there. Im 14 as well. I like to excercise, so I decided to mow lawns for neighbors(its not neccessarily something that I liKe to do though) But I do like to sell things, and I often do garage sales, and usually have a lemonade stand as well. Just find something you like and work hard at it, if you work hard you will do well BTW i just made my first thousand, and I now have around 1,250 dollars. Good Luck!

Trust me hun.  It might take you a while to save up that $40 a week, but you're 14 years old!  When I was 14, I really wanted a job too because I wanted money to buy things, but like, when you start working it sucks.  So you should just wait those couple months and have fun not working!  Because soon you'll have no choice!  And then you won't want a job anymore.  But if you really want that money I think the only things you could do are like ask people on your street if you could mow their lawn for a little money or walk their dog or something.
