  1. The rule in business is that for every hundred doors you knock on, ten will answer th door, and one will hire you.  Take a first-aid and CPR class, and have a resume made up with that on it.  Before you say that you don't have anything to put on a resume, use your classes, plus any home experience you have had with kids.  It may sound silly to you to make up a resume, bu I can tell you right now that one will greatly improve your chances of getting a baby-sitting job, or any other job.  Good luck--I was 14 too..

  2. I babysit the kids in my little brother's class, and I babysit the little kids of my parents friends, and then the parents of the kids I babysit recommend me to their friends, and so on and so on. If your parents don't have friends with little children and you have no little siblings, try putting up flyers.

  3. Well most of the babysitting job offers I got at first came from ppl at my church. Then when they saw how trustworthy I was they started referring me to their friends with kids. Now I get so many offers I simply cannot take every one. I would say volunteer at a church nursery or be a mothers helper. Then ppl will see how responsible and trustworthy you are. It wouldn't hurt to post an ad on your local website or newspaper either. Babysitting is always in high demand especially during the summer. I also recommend taking an infant and child CPR course and getting certified. That always looks good to families looking for a sitter.

  4. look of www.kijiji.com or ca if u live in london

  5. Talk to your neighbors and get your parents to talk to their friends. You could also babysit cousins and younger siblings' friends. Just get your name out there, but only to people that you know! Eventually, your name will get spread around.

Good luck and hope this helps!!!

  6. talk to some of your parents friends that have kids and let them know that you are available..

  8. put signs up at the grocery store, ask friends, talk to ya mom she may know someone.. hope this helps...bd

  9. You can advertise on flyers around town. You can also spread by word of mouth to people who have children, saying that you're looking for a babysitting job.
