I've tried to help out around the house. Parents said they can't help me there.

I've tried giving out flyers for a dog walking / house service business all over my neighborhood. No replies.

I've tried selling stuff on ebay. I have nothing valuable to sell.

I've tried everything! Any ideas???

  1. you have a grand opportunity!  You are in school and a teenage girl.  Sell the thing you love best, SWEETS.  Girls love candy and gum.  Always keep 10 packs of bubble yum or bubblicious in your locker along with tic-tacs and other small candies.  You can buy these items in bulk at sams club or costco.  My daughter does it and makes a killing.  She paid me back after 3 days of school being in session.  Also, if you are really trying to mkae some money, sell sodas and small bags of chips, frozen caprisuns when it's hot in the summer...anything the local kids love to snack on.....they keep coming back.  There are many times the ice cream truck cannot fulfill a childs junk food desires!!!!

  2. baby sit, dog sit, offer to walk dogs, garage sale, mow lawns, sell lemonade, clean houses, clean garages, pull weeds, ebay, a dishwasher at a restaurant(some do hire), paper route, wash inside and clean outside of cars, some fast food places hire, make crafts and sell them house to house.

There are many opportunities, just find something you like to do and go from there. Im 14 and I started trying to make money a few months ago. I like to excercise, so I decided to mow lawns for neighbors(its not neccessarily something that I liKe to do though) But I do like to sell things, and I often do garage sales. Just find something you like and work hard at it, if you work hard you will do well.  I now have around 1,600 dollars. just put yourself out there, I also recently offered to babysit a kid next door, and dogsit for 2 neighbors if they ever need me too. Good Luck!!

  3. I'm 15 and work for my dad doing building renovation. He has a company, so I just get crappy jobs like carrying bags of sand and cement. I've been doing this since I was 13. It's hard work, but it pays well.

Mind you I'm a guy, you might not like this sort of stuff.

  4. Contact your local newspaper. Quite often they hire young people to sell subsciptions door to door. Youre paid in cash and prizes. Good luck to you!
