My family is on the brink of being poor. Kind of. My stepmother is unemployed. My father is barely making enough to pay off mortgage, but I am very high maintence. I use Shisedo make-up. Bleach my hair. I get my nails done every now and then, and I wear expensive clothes. My real mom used to pay for all of this. But I don't live with her anymore. What should I do? I would get a job, but I'm to young. I hate not having money.

  1. how about being a beach bum...you need a metal detector

  2. Try selling some clothes or something that are in good condition on eBay. Sometimes they go for more than what you paid for them!

  3. open a lemonade stand

  4. stop worrying about expensive clothes, doing your nails everyday and bleaching your hair and start worrying about getting educated.... at 14 you haven't even begun to live yet....

My mom always taught me... if there's NOTHING to eat then eat your nails (or something else) and I'm not dead at 40, perfectly healthy.

Now, when you ask "How can a 14 year old make money in Florida?" and your details are on the economic status is on your family but yet you want to make money for your needs and not help your family, hmmmm i think that a little too selfish.

In other words... you'll live... sorry to be rude, but someone's gotta tell you like it is.... that's life!!!!

  5. It's hard to find a job at the age of 14. Try looking at restaurants. They tend to hire bussers that are 14 and up.

  6. ok.....now start living the way your dad can aford.....and u are the biggest wana be i have ever seen....gezzzzzzzz

  7. search in your area for jobs. quit buying expensive things. bargain is the way to go!
