Question:

How can a 15 year old be healthy in a family like this!?

I work out and stuff but I live in a house with a hard headed family who does not take no for an answer when it comes to their fried,salted,hot and buttered soul food! Basically the vegetables are getting their nutrients taken out with all this seasoning and its Meat Meat Meat Meat Meat and more Meat! lol I am falling a victim of this unhealthy carnivorous family lol

  1. Ask your parents for enough money for you to buy food for YOU to cook for yourself the way you like it. Should only be like 50 bucks a month. And explain that its because you'd like to eat healthier. Just because they like to eat unhealthy, doesn't mean that they should subject you to that way of life. Reasonable parents should understand.

  3. You can talk your parents into buying more salads and vegetables which are chalk full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They can serve the vegetables during dinner along with everything else. And instead of using regular cooking oil they can use peanut oil for deep frying and olive oil for regular frying on the stove top.
