Question:

How can a 15 year old with a bank account invest?

I have the money and I have the time, I just want to know if it is at all possible. Now I am not trying to be a hardcore investor I just want to leave it there and watch it stock grow over time?

  1. You can't in the US, but you can ask your parents to set up a custodial account for you.


  2. You may wanna look into online brokers where you can simply transfer funds from your bank to their online.  Go with those who dont charge any fee for inactivity.

  3. You can have your guardian set up a Coverdell Education Savings Account at Scottrade, as a brokerage account, and invest in stocks, bonds and mutual funds.
