  1. Go to bookstore.  Buy GED prep book.  Read it all the way through.  Work through the examples and sample tests.  Good luck.


  2. You should guide that young person to return to high school.  He can attend high school until the age of 21. There he  will get the specialized help he needs.

    GED programs are no longer the easy way out they were 30 years ago.  The testing is tough and to my knowledge, there are no Special Ed provisions.

  3. You can do it through the board of education for free usually. If they have special needs, it is pretty much guaranteed that they will get the appropriate help, because the board of education is a part of the government.

  4. Special Education student usually do not qualify for a GED as they end school with a certificate of completion not a diploma.

  5. Try job corp, get a GED and a trade at the same time.
