  1. That is less than $1.5 a day, or less than $10 a week.  Earning it will be easy, saving it until you need it will probably be the hard part.

Do errands/chores for neighbors/family/friends.  Some ideas include raking their yard, washing their car, walking their dog, and the like.  Wash one car once a week and you will easily be able to make enough!

If you know a neighbor or family member that has a newborn or is expecting one soon, see if they will pay you to be a mother's helper.  This is sort of like a babysitter, except the parent is home.  While the expectant mother is still pregnant, or right after birth, you would not care for the baby so much as help the mom do things that she can not do, or just things that will help her rest and have more time to spend with her baby.  In general, that means chores.  When the baby gets a little older, you can play with teh baby while she works around the house.

Ask your parents what chores you can do around the house to earn $10/week.

It is a very managable thing to do, like I said the hard part will be saving the money!

  2. Get a job..

Perhaps working in a place that you would like to work for would help. Sales assistant, all kinds.

  3. baby sit

  4. Baby sitting

    Yard work

    House cleaning

    House sitting

    Dog walking

    Delivering papers

  5. mow the lawn for 20 dollars a week or babysit for 8 dollars an hour. wash cars for 20 dollars.

  6. definately ask your parents for allowance for doing chores around the house (vaccuuming, washing windows, washing cars, cleaning the kitchen/bathrooms, mopping..) save that money in a piggy bank.

also.. get a group of kids together and do car washes over the summer. on average you make around $300 a day.. if you do like 5 of them you should have your money.

    good luck!

    steph

  7. Yard work.  Thank you and good day.

  8. $500 in one year is NOT a lot of money or too hard to do.

It is only about $1.36 a day. Start a piggy bank. Save every penny. Maybe ask your parents to pay you an allowance for chores. You only need to make about $10 a week.  Trust me if you don't spend it will add up quick! My husband and I saved enough spare change for vacation one year.

  9. well for your brithday and christmas ask for money, save your babysitting/ chore money, and start a piggy bank for spare change it will add up fast trust me thats only like 10 dollars a week

  10. try to think of something interesting you can create yourself to sell on Ebay or craigslist,-with your parents help of course.  Maybe purses or skirts, or unusual stuffed cats,...haha, just about anything.  That would be the quickest way, and babysit on the side too.

  11. um... if you play violin and play well already to play here comes and goes the bride (not offical names... you get the idea), jesu, and canon,  find 5 weddings to play and charge 100 each.
