How can a Postal Money Order be Invalided??

I sent a us postal money order to a buisness and they said that it is invalid and that they cannot cash it...I don't get it because it came from the post office and i filled it out correctly so why is this?

  1. Something must be wrong with the money order (appearance-wise) or you may have missed something when filling it out.  Did they say why it was invalid?  I would call and ask and ask that they mail it back to you so you can take it back to the post office to correct the error.  Make sure you take your receipt and all parts of the money order with you when you head back to the post office.

I am basing this on your  question about demanding payment in full.I think there is some law that says if they accept the partial payment they will no longer be able to demand payment in full.A money order is a secure payment so I think the company is just making the claim the money order is invalid.
