  1. Delivery Confirmation is a service that a sender can use that will show that an item has been delivered to a Zip Code. You do not have to sign or do anything at all with DC. The carrier simply scans the item when they put it in your mail receptacle.

Why would you think that a person using DC would be trying to do any sort of identity theft? There is so little information associated with DC that it isn't possible.

There is no record kept by USPS other than the origin and destination city names. Only the sender would have the address and name of where the item was sent.

  2. you need it to have a tracking number but my suggestion to you is don't go to the usps there service isn't up and up my suggestion to you is either going to ups or fedex now those are the people that you can trust.
