He will be 18, has a keen interest in Japan, and can possibly stay with my aunt who lives there; but am trying to arrange a way he can get some baseball experience there.....eventually he wants to become a sports broadcaster after college

  1. Well Japan loves baseball, so they are certainly playing.

It all depends on what kind of "experience" he wants.  The language barrier is going to be a major problem obviously.

If you aunt lives there and speaks the language, this is going to be the best way to get information.  I suggest she just start asking around.

If any old baseball game will do, and he'll be going to an area with a lot of foreigners, then probably there are some social leagues he can join up with.  The best way to find them from abroad will be to find magazines and websites for foreigners in japan.  Many of them will have classified ad sections and/or message forums that are a good place to start searching/scanning/asking.
