  1. Very easily. By remaining poor. The richer you are the more pollution you cause. Poor people cannot afford to drive cars, so they don't emit any car exhaust or buy a car that was made in a factory that pollutes. They don't live in a big house so there were not a lot of trees cut down to build it. They don't have air conditioning so they don't use electricity that is generated by power plants that have smoke stacks putting out air pollution.

  2. dude you need to clean your bong or get some new meds ! the destitute are .000001% of the population, the rats in the cities are a bigger threat.another public school lib hero.thanks for your input......

  3. Here, in Los Angeles, CA, USA -we have recycling centers.  A destitute person (or anyone) can pick up aluminum cans, glass & plastic bottles and take them to a recycling center, and get cash for them.  This helps the environment and the person doing the work.

Realistically, a days work only produces about $20US, but it is a start, and means that people can have some dignity, and help the earth at the same time.

  4. hey when we were on holidays in the East coast Canada in NB NS what looked like homeless or destitute people were picking up the can and plastic water bottles at .10 @ some of these guys had garbage bags full they were making a small fortune. We collect beer bottles and cooler bottles by our neighbourhood ball field after tournaments and my kids make around $20.00 per weekend .But were having to get up pretty early to beat the others to clean up the bottles,it can be done and it can pay and if your destitute gets you outside and you have nothing better to do
