checking for bruising and other signs on the skin. if the child is a girl the doctor can test to make sure she is still a virgin. a test for std is a good idea too. other than that, the child should see a phychologist, they can usually tell by the way they respond to certain questions and how they tell stories...

there is no medical test that comes up positive or negative, however a physical examination can be very helpful, std testing is a good idea if you are aware of sexual abuse, and I would highly recommend taking the child to a psychologist which can also play a big role in determining abuse.
