go to avatars.yahoo.com log in with your Yahoo ID. Rest is as easy as a pie

Go to your mail home page just like when you check your mail. Then click on the little gray pic where you avatar would be It should take you to a page that will help you create or change your avatar. After your avatar is the way you want it, click on save all changes. You have to do this or all the changes you made to your avatar will be lost. And there you go.
