Question:

How can a female Sag cheer herself up??

So lately, my mood has gone a little downhill.....I dunno why but I know I really miss my parents--they're away on vacation.

Anyway, what are some good things I could do myself, that would lift my mood? Please give constructive answers!!

First of all:

-I know I really, really need to get a life.

-I don't want to bother my friends while I'm feeling down (I prefer not to operate that way). I try my best to avoid company when I'm moody.

-I know I sound a bit pathetic, but I'm trying to break out of this.

So, does anyone have any ideas?? They would be most greatly appreciated.

  1. ~~I found it interesting that I am the same sign and I've been going through the blues too. I don't know much about astrology, but something must be messing us up. Nice to know I have company. What I do when I'm blue is read. Nothing like a good book to get your mind occupied. Of course I love to be on this forum too, my problems seem minute compared to others, so it's nice to help someone with an idea or two! I have 3 dogs who can make me laugh no matter how grumpy I am, so playing with them helps cheer me up. I also look forward to Thursdays, my day to go visit my Grandmother in a nursing home. My family volunteers there on Thursdays and do manicures for the residents, then we take as many as we can outside to visit and get them out. The awesome feeling I get from this really makes my week. They are so appreciative of the attention we give them, and it's fun to visit with them and hear their stories of days gone by. So I guess my answer is keep your mind busy, and if you have something you enjoy-volunteer a little time, you get a huge payback. Also know you have another sister out there feeling like you-and we just gotta hope it passes quick! To GOOD MOODS-I SAY!!


  2. Crazy, I'm going through a "down" spell too. What I do to keep to cheer myself up is read, listen to music, write, or if you have a video cam or a web-cam, talk your feelings out.  

  3. You don't sound pathetic! People often forget that Sagittarius (The fun-lovers of the zodiac) have emotions too. I have a Sagittarius moon and rising, so I can sympathize

    Do something creative. Start a project. Play some games. Anything that involves you getting really into it. I usually watch some comedy to make me laugh and cheer me up. Try laughing. It doesn't matter if there isn't anything funny to laugh over. That first laugh just brings relief with it. Try it, it works for me

  5. It's funny because I have been feeling the exact same way for a while now. Of course I have reasons but my mood has definitely went downhill. Your not alone so don't feel bad. I agree with the first answer, books are a definite way for me to get my mind off of things. I usually get me a good book and just absorb myself into it and take my mind elswhere. It really works for me and changes my mood at that time. I love to read so that's an added bonus! Of course there are other ways such as activities you love doing that can brighten your mood too. You don't sound pathetic at all so don't think that. Your human and your going to feel this way from time to time. We all do. I really do hope you feel better!
