  1. You have a big problem if you live in your own country, and a worse problem if you live in another country. You are an exact perfect fit for illegal immigration/fraudulent immigration scam, so you will have to prove you have no intention of remaining, and you will have to ensure you leave before your visa expires if you can ever get one.

You need documentation from your employer as to your wages, your accrued vacation time and the scheduled dates of your vacation, and that the employer guarantees that you continue to have a job upon your return.  If you are working outside your own country, they want to ensure that your visa is valid for your return to the country where you are employed.

You have to prove you have sufficient funds for all the normal tourist expenses: prepaid round-trip plane ticket, confirmed hotel reservations, plenty for restaurant meals, sightseeing, ground transportation, etc.

Where did someone with no real education get all that money working in such a low-paid job?  And why Italy of all places?  That's only the beginning of the grilling you will get at the Italian consulate when you apply for a visa.

  2. Your brother has to send you an invitation letter. With that you go to your nearest Italian embassy. As long as you can proof that you will leave the country without trouble it is easy for you to get a visa since your bro is a 1st grade relative

  3. I am assuming the care-giver lives in the US.

Go to the nearest Italian Embassy and apply.
