How can a grain of sand change to rock through the rock cycle??? ?

I really need to know for tomorrow because i need write the whole process as a story for school tomorrow. It has to be about a grain of sand that changes through the rck cycle. Many thanks =]

Three types of rock so :

1) It could be laid down as a sediment from water and with many more layers above it, the weight can squeeze it into a sedimentary rock.

2) The grain of sand in the sedimentary rock can be heated and squeezed into a Metamorphic rock

3) Both types of rock can be melted within the mantle or volcano and solidify into an Igneous rock.

Then all these rocks can weather back to single grains of sand.
