How can a man know if he is being led on?

i.e. how can he know if the woman is not serious about long term commitment?

does she not talk about the future beyond tomorrow the next day or your next meeting?

if those two things are in there your problem being led on, ask mention the future and see what she says if there is noting in the plans chances are she has no plans to be with you

start talking about children.  If she shows no interest, then she's not serious.

look at her history. i lead guys on a lot and i have a history with that. if she does a lot of the same things to you and with you as she did to her past relationships that didnt last long then she may not be serious
