Jagga is spot on - just find a UK bank which has US account facilities.

Uh... walk up to the desk in the bank and say, "I'd like to open an account"?  I think that would work.

Some banks allow opening of accounts without being a US citizen or having a Social Security Number.  I know Bank of America did for me!  You just need to ask around the major banks
