1. It depends on your standards of what is wealth like are you talking about upper middle class and above. In most cases as long as you can proof you can finical provide [stable income] you shouldn’t have a problem. You don’t need to provide your child with the most expensive toys, cloths be able to buy them a porches when they turn 16. Bi-racial and African babies are also general less costly to adopt. Also adopting through foster care is low cost to free. Sometimes the only thing you have to pay is for a lawyer and court fees.

  2. The agencies that handle adoptions look for a stable income, and for the type of persons are trying to adopt. Money does not make adoptions work, love does. Many people are very wealthy when it comes to loving and caring. If the bills are paid and there is a little something to put away the adoption agency would rather place a child in that home rather than one who is rich and two busy to spend the necessary time a child needs. The other thing is the race of the child matters not.

  3. If you started off being a foster parent.. sometimes CYF helps you adopt. my sister fostered my neice through CYF and then they paid for all the costs fo her. They paid for the homestudy course... and everything.

This is the way im gonna go for adopting. I can't afford to adopt any other way. The adoption places want about 10,000.00 to start all the paperwork, homestudy course and everything.

    Good luck!!!

  4. for me it doesn't matter if you are not wealthy to adopt a child as long as you can give proper attention.. love and care it doesnt matter about the race..

the question there is not about money or race ...it is all about the psychological capacity of the person who wanted to adopt .. if he is capable for raising a child and a person who can really give love, care, proper attention, guidance and of course provide basic needs of the child.then no matter who's that person he can adopt a child...

  5. it shouldn't matter what the race it is still a human and they will be your child you shouldn't care what race what ever child that your heart reaches out to is who you want to be your child

  6. if you're not wealthy - u can't adopt

    make your own bi-racial child.

  7. yes it is a lot of money like 10,000

  8. Yes, of course you can. You will need to pass a homestudy to show that you can provide a safe and stable environment.

  9. You don't need to be wealthy to adopt, you just need to be able to care for a child by having a steady job and income which can support a growing child.

  10. Many people adopt through the foster care system. Race shouldn't be a factor.
