How can a person born in a virgo/leo cusp gain more traits of the Leo?

you can redesign your fates, but you can not reconstruct the very fabric of your soul! you can't choose to be more leo than virgo. especially since your rising is against it as well.

what you could do is accentuate the traits you like about leo. do like to flatter others? do it more often. do you like to be the center of attention? demand it more often. do you like to be stubborn? never back down and always fight to the end. do you like being spontaneous? do so and hang around others who encourage such traits by doing so themselves.

Why would you want to? Virgos are wonderful!

I think that if you wanted to be more like a Leo then you should act like a lion. Aggressive, dominant, and direct. However, since your Rising is in Virgo I don't think it will be easy. I know from personal experience that Leo's like a bunch of attention and ego stroking. I try to do my part.

You can't gain more unless you want to fabricate your entire personality.  You could try enhancing the Leo traits you already possess.  Find someone to stroke that ego. :p

Not necessarily. If other planetary aspects permit you may even sound like a Scorpio.
