I live in a Senior Apartment complex. There is a very mean, hateful and downright evil woman here who has a great deal of influence over even the manager here. People will see her be mean and it is like they disassociate or something. They think she is this sweet little thing. It is like see no evil, hear no evil speak no evil (against her) I cannot understand how she does this. I have been her target many times. No one will stand up for me. No one.I am calling my Dr. today to see if he will place me on an anti-depressant because I am very depressed over this ann even to the point of felling suicidal. How does she do this?

  1. Ain't it something?

I can relate - I worked with a lady who was downright mean to me.  My personality (timid, sensitive) allowed it though.  The best way I found was to be nice to her and pray for her.  But working with her everyday sure did wear on me.  I was very depressed - and b/c of my depression and anxiety - didn't feel strong enough to stand up to her or find another job.

Others seem to have a "strong ego" and can overlook these things.  Some are imidated but don't show it.  Yep, it amazes me that some people can get away with their evilness.....on earth.

  2. Maybe the problem is the way you perceive her actions.  Maybe you should just talk to her personally and voice your concerns.

  3. she will be 'making all the right noises' to the manager, being all sweetly sweetly to everyone who she can control and manipulate, and who she can get something out of, to her advantage.

this happens at the school where i work, there is a newly qualified teacher, who acts all nice to the headmaster, and he is completely wrapped around her little finger. but in fact, she is a scheming, cunning little mischief maker, who can't spell, isn't nice to anybody else, and who isn't actually a very good teacher anyway!

so i completely undersatnd where you're coming from, and somehow you need to overturn her, and show her to everyone for who she really is.

and just think, this is her loss, she will be the one going to h**l, if the things she does are really evil.

good luck, and i really hope i've helped you.

  4. we have absolutely NO control over another human being. that means she has no control over you. so, any response you have is one that you have allowed yourself to have. YOU decide how to respond to situations.so...just decide to not let her affect you. end of saga!

    all the best :)

  5. She is a very controlling person. Please call your local Senior Hot line. Yes, call your Dr. to help you through. It is not a sin to get help for depression. It is a sin not too. Good luck!
