How can a persuade my mum to get me a new TV?

Ok so my tv has broke and whenever i want to play on wii i

always have to shove it up to the wall or the scart cable will come out!

She says i can have a tv from play.com with freeview built in

But it has been 2 months and she keeps saying yes but wont buy it!

What do i do ?

do extra stuff around the house without being asked, do this for 2 weeks, make it noticeable, then ask her, If she says no well lets just say two weeks of extra work is good enough for a chance at getting a new tv right?

Consider this from her side.  With interest rates and mortgage repayments and the price of everything going up, can she afford to buy you a new tv at this moment?  She may want to, but not be able to put the money aside for this purchase. (oh, my god, I sound old!!)

Ask yourself... .. is there enough money left over from the everyday expenses and bills to be able to put some money aside for a new tv?

How about you offer to do some chore regularly every day or once a week - something that you don't already do and something she would appreciate not having to do herself - in return for some money - keeping your room clean NOT would count, by the way. or a big job like cleaning out the garage or weeding the garden, for substantially more money.

I think you are probably a very nice person; but very spoilt since you hve a Wii i and apparently everything else that goes with it. Give the woman a break; or get a part-time job and buy your own.
