  1. Are you confusing pessimism with depression?

  2. same just going to have more of a negative outlook and attitude "something will go wrong" type...... just tends to worry more and care about things that shouldn't really matter........

  3. The same as everyone else does, except with fewer expectations.

  4. I feel so much compassion for pessimistic / negative people.  I have been in your shoes, at least at some level and it is a dark place.

I don't think pessimistic people have a hard time surviving at all.  I think one of their main goals is to find negative people like themselves, and or find people who can easily brought down to that level.

In any case, I know now that I am 100% positive, that I found my happiness again.  And I love this place! I can't believe it took me so long to get here.  So, I feel bad for those who are stuck in that negative state, because there is so much happiness and wonderful feelings to experience when you are truly happy.

I wish it was as easy as it sounds to turn a pessimistic person over to the positive side.  And the truth is, no one can do this for another.  You, yourself has to want to change and live a better life.  But I can point you in the direction that I took took.

The first step for me was when I read the book, The Secret.  It teaches the law of attraction, and how to get all that you want out of life.  So, I had to clean out that negativity and only use and say positive thoughts to myself.  This cannot change overnight. You must work at this everyday.  Once my negativity was gone, I found my happiness just sitting there gleaming as bright as ever. It was there all along just waiting for me to bring it out.
