How can a pre-teen/teen invent a product???

I always have TONS of great ideas and have searched them for patents but how WOULD I invent a product??? Is there a company that will help me make sure no-one has a patent on it and get materials? HELP please?????

Oh yeah kids can invent things. Visit your local library and get "Kids Inventing! A Handbook for Young Inventors" or "The Kids' Invention Book (Kids' Ventures)" and you will see. You do not have to be an adult to invent something.

One girl used glow paint to paint a clipboard so she could write at night. Police departments started sending her orders for the clipboards because they spend so much money on batteries.

Just start putting ideas together to make a new idea and good luck.
