  1. It can make them think about what they want to do in the future. They will learn that they need to succeed to have fun. Like if a boy dresses in a fireman costume and rides around in a toy fire truck, he will want to be a firefighter when he grows up because he is having fun. When a girl dresses up like a nurse a has toy instruments (for medical needs of course) she will want to be a nurse when she grows because she's having fun. Get the picture? Also when they play house they learn they need to succeed to get fun and what they need. I hope this had helped you.

  2. It allows them to experiment with different situations in a safe environment. They learn how to play different roles and when reacting to each others roles learn how real life situations are played out.

  3. dressing up (putting on own clothes, buttoning, zipping=better fine motor skills for writing.)  Playing cooperatively with others (problem solving, listening skills, speaking skills, interaction skills).  Playing with babydolls (nurturing skills, learning needs of others, like baby needs love, diaper change, and food.)  Imagination (more creative writers when older). The list goes on......

  4. it helps them use their imagination and also how real life should involve
