How can a red hair color appear really red on naturally black hair without bleaching it?

if i repeat coloring my hair everyday, will it show? coz i colored it today and it really doesn't show that much. the color i used was the reddest among the line....

 @Guest9954 apparently you don't know you're talking about. My hair is bright red (Like The Little Mermaid red), my hair is naturally black and not once have i ever bleached my hair.
