I'm 13 almost 14 and i weigh 160 lb. what can i do to help me loose some weight?

  1. Im also a teen and basically the three keys are as follows

    1.DIET-Make yourself a plan that you can stick to and make sure you don't skip any meals especially breakfast!! I think boys need at least 1900 cal per day!!!

    2.EXERCISE!!-Even if your not a fit guy it won't kill you to do some abs like situps,crunches,v-sits,pushups....and if you can do some cardio or go for a run,walk for me as a swimmer the best thing to do to loose some weight is swim! its fun and refreshing!! make yourself a daily activity routine during the week and set yourself a goal!

    3.WATER!!-Keep yourself hydrated..don't drink coke or juice...try to drink at least 8 cups of water per day!!!

  2. you can also lose weight by just cutting out foods that are not filling but fattening.

  3. For one thing, stop drinking Mountain Dew. Switch to diet or better yet water. Eat healthier! Get active - walking is a great start. Aim for 30-45 minutes of activity a day and increase from there. Cut out the fatty, processed, fried, sugary, fizzy, bad-for-you foods. You know what they are. ;-)

    Eat healthy stuff...fruit..salad..oatmeal..chicken..... are many options.

    get involved in a sport and work out more.

  7. You could get involved in sports at school. Cheer-leading, volleyball, basketball, softball, etc...

    Other things you can try if sports are not your thing, walk. Walk around the football field at your school. Get a couple friends and start walking together.  That way you can keep each other motivated and have fun at the same time. Try to walk at least 2 miles a day. Drink at least 6-8 glass of water a day to keep yourself hydrated.

    Depending on how big your football field is, walk at least 6-10 laps.

    If you have a treadmill at home, walk and work yourself up from 1-2 miles a day to 4 miles a day.

    Try to avoid soft drinks and sugary foods because the sugar hinders your progress. If you don't want to completely give up soft drinks, limit them to a couple a week.

    Losing weight is a slow process so be patient. Hard work pays off and don't get discouraged if you come to a stand still in your progress.

    By walking 3-4 miles a day I lost 20 pounds from March to May of this year.

  10. Yeah, stop drinking pop/sodas, cut out all fast food and junk food (chips,ice cream,cookies) and start eating fruits and vegetables, (green vegetables are the best). And do some cardio like skipping or jogging. Start to jog for like 2 minutes then walk for 1. And so on
