  1. Jiu-Jitsu is a wonderful martial art to know if your small. It helps you to use your opponents size against them. Remember also that it doesn't matter how big someone is when it comes to choking the neck and stopping the blood flow in the arteries. But I don't recommend doing that without proper training and supervision. You should look around your hometown and see if there is a Jiu-Jitsu instructor near you.

Check out the free videos at the link below- they cover alot of different jiu-jitsu techniques. Good luck

  2. choke holds, dont get to technical. triangles and armbars. if there unexperianced theres no way they can get out of them.

  3. im a small guy myself and i destroy all my friends because i utilize my shortness. Get low and when they go down try and back away. If they try and take you down grab his head and guillotine him. (look it up if you dont know what it is) try a jumping guillotine. They never suspect it and they have to tap. Its worked alot for me. h**l if your strong enough shoot in and grab a leg and lift it as high as you can. Theyll go down hard leaving a kneebar wide open. Study guard submissions and how to apply them. Size doesnt make a difference if you know what your doing.

  4. I wouldn't fight against your friends. I don't know what to tell you really because i wasn't taught to hold down the enemy but to disable them however needed. So if you want to hurt someone bigger than you i would go for the knee cap by popping it, you can invert it very easy with a straight kick(trust me that i'll do it)

  5. Scuffling with your friends for fun and winning a fight are different things totally.

With your friends look for ways to utilize your small size and speed.  chokes are good, particularly from a bottome position or behind.  try locking a finger or toe instead of a big strong arm or leg.  Learn about some painful pressure points.

Winning a fight when you are smaller means knowing how to use your size as an advantage.  There are many joint locks and throws, even striking teachniques that do not require size and strength.

Japanese jujutsu is a great way to learn these techniques, but it requires training not just reading. try finding a good class or dojo in your area.

  6. sweeps work pretty good
