How can a woman know she cant have children?can she find out through a pap smear?

are there signs like pelvic pain? irregular periods? pain when bowel movements?etc

I'm afraid not.

Like me for instance.. My husband & I have been trying for 3 years. I finally visited a fertility specialist. She performed a vaginal ultrasound on me and took 15 tubes of blood. After weeks of waiting , she diagnosed me with an under active thyroid. It's all in the blood. get yourself poked! I will be taking 2 forms of medication & hopefully I'll be able to ovulate and conceive. I am wishing you the best of luck!

A pap smear does nothing but examine the cells for signs of cancer.

There are many causes of infertility, quite a few of them without symptoms. If you're worried you can't have kids, you'd begin with a gynecological workup.

no you can not find out during a pap....it take lots of tests, and sometimes even that comes up at a dead end.....called unexplained infertility....

but there are so many things that can happen......and it's very hard!
