  3. Having accurate info about transmission of HIV can help people protect themselves.  However, even some people who have accurate info do not want or care about using protection.

    Besides lack of info or having wrong info, another problem is that HIV rarely has early symptoms, so many people pass the virus on to others before the realize that they themselves are infected.
