How can americans make pot legal?

I hate to see that the things that are bad for you are legal but not pot. Pot really dose help some people that are bipolar and it is alot better to be high then drunk. Drunk driving kills alot of people and drunks get really violent sometimes but i have never heard of potheads hurting other people. They can just pass a law that you cant grow it yourself, like tabacoo. I am just saying it could help alot of people, there is so much stress in this world, who gives a flip if you get high in your own home on your own time! I just want to know if there is anything american people can do to make this harmless plant legal. And that is what it is, not a drug, but a plant! Sorry if I seem upset but i have seen to many of my friends get in trouble for not hurting anyone.

Pot can be used to help people with bipolar, but when people plant it for their the medical use, they seem to pant TOO MUCH than what they would need. The fact that its illegal to sell is where they make their profit. When you say, "but i have never heard of potheads hurting other people" is where its the opposite.

Cite your sources, UICS wrecks are number 2 in Nevada for death/dismemberment. The majority we see are from marijuana related effects. You may think it is a harmless drug, but so do alcoholics...

Want to make it legal, move. Other countries have looser laws.
