If they're responsible, they can babysit for people they know, or they could walk dogs...

Since summer's coming they could wash cars...

They could do housework or yard work for the elderly...

WORK for it. There must be something you can do around the house or chores for neighbors etc.

Ask to wash a car.

Mow the lawn.

Wash dishes.

Take out trash.

Etc.

My son is 11 and he has earned 50.00 so far this spring from neighbors by doing yard clean up. I do NOT pay him for doing house hold chores at home, because he needs to contribute and take pride in our home. I do however pay him for doing my chores if I don't have time to do them. I should mention I don't give allowance either. They do get opportunities to earn money from other family members and neighbors though. Hope this helps.
