How can an NCO in the U.S. Army attend law school via tuition assistance?

If they already had a bachelor's degree and were on active duty and were interested in going to law school, would they have to go through OCS first?

  1. Just go, nothing is stopping you at all except time.  The biggest problem with law school is that it is an intensive and time consuming curriculum and they don't get real happy at the colleges about part time work, but that doesn't mean it can't be done.


  2. Well, let's see...for higher than a BA, TA won't cover it. You just need to use your G.I. bill/College fund. Anyway, you need to go see a counselor tomorrow at the post ed center to get the accurate info. I could explain it some, but that's their job. We have two Soldiers who just ETS and one is LAW school and one is about to go. Both have BA's. I have You can do anything in your free time, at night or online including working on your law degree without getting out. There are many colleges, just do the research for them.
