How can an illegal mexican leave the U.S. and re-enter mexico?

that is to say, is it possible. will he/she be arrested when trying to get back to mexico or wil he/she be allowed to just leave?

also what is self-deportation mean/process?

can she/he aquire his/her mexican passport and just board a plane back to mexico? and if so, how can he/she obtain that passport if he/she cam to the U.S. with out one?

sorry for so many questions, but i figured i might as well just ask them right away.

Just cross the border, you should be alright.

Just get rounded up -- INS will be sure to get you to Mexico.

Well, here in California they don't really check those going in... it's more the people coming out they worry about but that's the border...
