How can an ocean water damaged ds lite be fixed?

It was in my beach bag at the ocean, and a huge wave came up and filled the bag. The little light on the side was working, but the screen wouldn't show up. I tried replacing the battery but it didn't work. What should I do?

u have 3 choices:

1: buy a new one

2: go to a place where they can repair it instead since its only your screen

3: give it a little bit to dry out and all, and if that doesnt work, then your gonna have to do either option 1 or 2

( salt water is known to damage electronics worse than normal water

buy a new one then buy a water case to protect it

buy a new one, or ask nintendo or an electronic repairer expert. since the little light shows up, it must be ur graphic card that is broken. ask nintendo (if u can get there) to open ur ds and install a new one. but ill suggest buying a new ds, since all the repair stuff is pretty complicated and isnt free.
