How can an opossum be confused for BIGFOOT?

Maybe the opossums do grow big in the south.

And this time, it evolved to a 7' 7", 550 pound upright walking creature.

Maybe the technicians need to pull a tooth or a bone and extract DNA from that versus any skin or hair specimens.

It has nothing to do with the actually factuality of this situation, these people cannot possibly believe that they found bigfoot. However, people are talking about these guys now and for some people, that's more important than actually finding bigfoot.
