How can any sane person be against gun 'control'?

Note the emphasis on 'control'.

Nobody is talking about taking guns away from responsible citizens. A citizen should prove that he/she is responsible and stable enough to have this 'privilege'.

And this nonsense about keeping a gun at hand to 'preserve freedoms' is also a lot of baloney, civilised societies use the ballot box and courts to 'preserve freedoms'.

  1. Yep, amazing how those Jews, gypsies, communists, and physically handicapped people used the ballot box to preserve their freedom in the face of the n***s.  Or the women in Pakistan that have been murdered for their 'crime' of being raped, they should obviously vote differently next time and I'm sure it will work out.

You obviously have no grasp of world history.  What you do at the ballot box only counts as far as someone else cares.  If they don't care what you think, then it's just a useless slip of paper.

  2. I agree we need a Revolution to take back our freedoms. The bleeding heart liberals think that if all guns are controlled there will be no crime. Now that is the most asinine thing I have heard. that is like saying if we all cut our manhood off that will help control abortion. The sad fact is the act of committing a crime is as old as guns and weapons themselves. These uneducated Liberals like to have everything handed to them by their government. That sounds like a Socialist/Communist party to me.

  3. You`ve answered you own question ... the key word being `sane`.

  4. Easy. If you have any grasp of history you know that it's just a euphemism for restriction, registration, bans, and confiscation.

  5. The next time you see the police arrest a bad guy...look around for a ballot box...

All that c**p is reactive - pass a law so that THIS  is safe, or to prevent THAT from happening: If the law worked, we would not need to answer [ or ask] this question.

That which needs control is CRIME, not guns.

  6. It is a RIGHT, not a "privilege."

Please read the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. "...the right of the people...shall not be infringed."

We do not vote on rights in the US.  If we did, many people might have voted to deny the right to vote to blacks or women.

  7. I really think the opposite, what's the biggest fear of criminals with guns, citizens with guns.  I really believe if more responsible citizens had guns, you would really eliminate mass killings.  Think about it, what won the west and made it civilized the "peacemaker".

  8. Totally agree with you on 'control'...There's no way a handgun will give a citizen any 'leverage' against a government

now watch the answers you get and see what comes out of the woodwork :>

  9. Some criminals have a tendency to ignore laws regarding the purchase of guns.  They really aren't interested in "controls".  Many also have a tendency to ignore the political process and aren't interested in proving they are stable enough to have this privilege.  They aren't interested in the political process because they don't need a ballot box.  They need guns.  They know "controls" will prevent this, so they ignore the "controls" and the law.

Sometimes, if you want to commit an armed robbery or snuff out a rival gang member, you might not want to let the cops know that you have a gun because you bought it illegally on the street.

So, I guess once you've convinced the criminals that they really must behave and follow the rules, it will be a step in the right direction.

Once you can get EVERYONE to buy into the "controls", I'm behind you 100%.

  10. I agree

  11. sorry but i believe in the freedom of owning your own gun in your house...sorry!

  12. there is no solution to gun control, people can get guns illegally almost anywhere, i agree crazy people shouldn't have them but they still get them. its like the alcohol Prohibition, just wont work
