  1. Copy the one from Iron man. Then you have the impact resistance when it fails and you hit the ground hard.

  2. It can't be done, thank Goodness.  There would just be more split, broiled, and mashed people in Emergency Rooms and Morgues.

Please imagine some other perversion.  Only don't do anything.  Just stay in the house.

  3. You can't.  You shouldn't.

Those jet pack (from James bond movie) has only 20 seconds of power.  If you don't plan it correctly, you run out of fuel and just fall out of the sky - like a rock.

Also, because of the intense pressure, the jet packs and easily blow up on you back.

    Good Luck....

  4. Well, Bell aircraft designed and built the original "jet pack" which used a simple mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide and H2O.  The simple reaction created about 400lbs of thrust! hence lift. The problem is that Peroxide at a 95% concentration is VERY dangerous and can explode with simple contact with O2!!! So you would need to find someone to supply you with the Peroxide (what you buy in the drug store is 1%) Store it, find a way to put it into the back pack (can find the diagrams on line) etc. Reality is you get at most 30 seconds of flight time, with a highly unstable fuel source, and although you could go 2-300 ft up, once out of fuel it is a very quick drop. There is a guy who has one, and does fly it often but a homebuilt model is NOT recomended.... how about a nice game of chess?

  5. four easy steps:

    1.   learn everything there is to know about aerodynamics and the physics of flight.

    2.  invent a jet engine light enough that you can carry it.

    3.  invent a way to adapt the engine to a pack you can wear on your back.

    4.  fabricate your designs.

  6. have one in my garage used once a long time ago
