I am trying to evaluate at which pressure a not vulcanized rubber hose (therefore a viscous material) will start to collapse.

The pressure is from outside of the hose.

  1. when the pressure outside  the hose start to exceed the normal atmospheric pressure which is  inside of the hose walls, the hose will collapse . therefore to achive any increase in pressure outside the hose, it should be proportion to the increase of pressure inside the hose too or if possible there should be a material inside the hose that can with stand the pressure as in a steel shaft,in order not to collapse it. i assume you are referring to the curing and curing pressure needed  in manufacturing rubber hoses.
