also try to book on the weekdays instead weekends...it is cheaper

the sites buy like 10-50 tickets (cheap) from the airlines depending on the flight. Then they turn around and sell them for the price they want.

Another reason the sites are cheaper is because say a NWA flight has 50 seats. NWA has control over all 50. They sell 30 seats to orbitz, priceline, etc. Then they try to sell 20 seats on there website. As a result that flight's seats get advertised in many websites.

They scan the various airline computers for their lowest price. Some may not be legit but i believe most are. Try looking a t sky scanner (google it lol) they are legit although recently they haven't had such good prices because Ryan Air has stopped letting people book through them.

they are legit.. but sometimes cheaptickets.com is not updated coz prices changes from time to time.. but still  try your luck.. : )
